David Robert Jones, beter bekend onder zijn artiestennaam David Bowie, geboren op 8 januari 1947 in (Brixton) Londen en overleden op 10 januari 2016 in New York. Hij was al een geruime tijd ongeneselijk ziek.
David Bowie was een Engelse musicus, songwriter en acteur. Hij wordt beschouwd als een van de invloedrijkste rockmuzikanten van de jaren zestig tot heden.
